This training will explain how your products and technologies are subject to the regulations, as well as help your employees understand their responsibilities under the ITAR and EAR regulations.

Licensing

Foreign Person Management/“Deemed Export Rule”
Under the “deemed export rule,” providing controlled technology to a foreign person is “deemed” to be an export to that person’s country of citizenship. Generally, the rule applies to employees, contingent workers, and visitors. If you have foreign persons at your business, it is important to understand how our export regulations affect your ability to have the foreign persons perform certain tasks. Export Compliance Services will help you develop control plans to enable you to hire foreign persons and ensure compliance with the regulations.
Commodity Jurisdiction Process
Export Compliance Services has extensive experience in the commodity jurisdiction process under the ITAR. Export Compliance Services will work with your engineers and/or technical experts to complete the commodity jurisdiction process for products currently under ITAR control.

Voluntary Disclosure Process
If your company violates an export regulation, you must determine whether or not a voluntary disclosure should be made to the government. From investigation through voluntary disclosure filing, Export Compliance Services will work with you and/or your legal representatives to determine the appropriate course of action to take.
